We haven’t tried this donut with gluten-free all-purpose flour, but it might be worth trying.
As you can see in this post, Nami experimented with only glutinous rice flour, but the donut texture differed from Pon De Ring.

Yes, halving the recipe should be OK. However, we recommend using the scale to weigh the ingredients.

Our dough was basically liquid so we thought we screwed up. We just ignored it and piped it onto parchment since it was too late to restart. It was really liquid though, like undermixed macaron batter consistency. I think that’s because we spilled a lot of flour while sifting. It was so good though, exactly like the ones we buy at the store! Thanks for the recipe5 stars
